Almost all parents in Singapore have to face the problem of a prolonged cough in their child. How can you know if the cough is harmless or whether it is an indication of something more insidious? A significant portion of children with chronic cough have asthma. In fact, 1 in 5 children in Singapore is asthmatic. How can asthma be prevented? Montessori Phonics (Pink Scheme)
Preparing an Early Reader
|
| |
Language development forms a major part of the child's development for the first six years of life. Learning to read and write has to be cultivated from young.
The Montessori Method of teaching language builds on the sounds of which speech is made. It is a multi-sensory approach that combines phonics, stories and language experiences to bring meaning to the learning of reading and writing. The Montessori language activities are fun and useful as they utilise all your child’s senses to help him/her read and write with proper understanding. They also enhance each child’s discovery of the richness and potential of language, developing confidence and motivation for a life-long journey through the world of reading and writing.
Come and attend our Montessori Language workshop! Pick up the skills you need to teach your child. Help him build a strong foundation in English language which is so critical in today’s education, especially for a child who is transitioning from preschool to primary school. Most importantly, see how it improves the parent-child relationship as you both progress along the learning path.
