Terms of Use and Privacy Guidelines
The below mentioned terms of use and the privacy guidelines refer to all editorial materials, applications, functions, messages, contributions and feedback ("the Content") within www.asianparenting.com and www.asianparenting.com, collectively known as "the Service".
Asianparenting Pte Ltd (the "Service Provider") collects personal and identifiable user information ("User Information") from users of The Service (The "User") where the information has been voluntarily provided by the User.
The User warrants that using the Service and by voluntarily providing User Information, the User agrees and complies with all terms of use and privacy guidelines stipulated herein. The User also confirms agreement to the Disclaimer to which the Content is provided under the Service.
The submission by The User of User Information to participate in promotions, contests or relevant application forms is deemed to be a binding agreement between the parties where due compliance with the applicable terms and conditions are mandatory. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse any User, User Information, entry or application without stating any reasons whatsoever.
The Service Provider reserves the right to terminate any agreement with the User in the event of a breach of any of the terms and guidelines herein or the said Disclaimer terms whereupon the User shall be disqualified from the use of the Content in the Service.
All User Information gathered within the Service whether through a registration process, postings, forums, chats, suggestions, feedback, submissions or electronic commerce applications will not be sold, transferred, broadcasted or posted on unrelated public or third party domains without prior approval of the User.
User Information that is voluntarily provided by The User on bulletin boards, forums, chats or any other interactive communication channels where third parties have access to such User Information may result in unsolicited communication from such third parties to The User whereupon the Service Provider shall not be responsible for any actions, liabilities, losses or claims resulting from such violation of privacy or nuisance to the User.
In voluntarily providing User Information to the Service Provider, the Service Provider reserves the right to analyse the web activity and characteristics of User behavior and distribute relevant statistical information to our members, partners, advertisers or affiliated third parties. The Service Provider will not provide User Information to unaffiliated third parties without prior approval of the User.
The Service Provider also reserves the right to inform members, partners, advertisers or affiliated third parties regarding changes or additions to the User web activity or behavioral patterns derived from the Service. In the event the User uses Content from members, partners, advertisers or affiliated third parties websites beyond the reasonable control of the Service, the User must verify and agree to the applicable terms of use and privacy policies of such websites when voluntarily providing User Information to the said websites.
The Service Provider shall not be responsible for any errors, omissions, loss, damage or liabilities arising from the use of "cookies" or similar programs to collect non-personable information and data for analysis of User behavior by third parties outside reasonable control of the Service Provider.
The User shall use the Service and the Content for lawful purposes only and shall not post, transmit or contribute information or images that violates applicable laws or in any way infringes the right of the other User, members, partners, advertisers or affiliated third parties.
This terms of use and privacy guidelines are for information only and unless specifically stipulated, is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend and change this terms of use and privacy guidelines without prior notice to the User.
